The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) established in 1988 is a non-profit industry association. It is the apex body for the US$ 227 billion Indian technology industry which has made a phenomenal contribution towards India’s GDP and provides the highest employment in the private sector.

Courses under Nasscom
Nasscom represents the IT/ITES sector to train students to get jobs in IT/ITES industries. It comes under MSDE (Ministry of skill development & entrepreneurship) and NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) who are building skills for Indian youth. NSDC has formed 36 SSC (Sector Skill Councils) from different industries like IT/ITES, Automobile, Apparels, Logistics, etc.
NASSCOM has identified 10 futures skills like AI, IOT, AR/VR, Web/Mobile development, Cloud Computing, Robotic Process Automation, 3D printing and modeling, Cyber security, Block chain and big data analytics to build students’ futures. Students acquiring any of these skills will be relevant to the professional world as a part of industrial revolution 4.0.
